Our Fact-Checking Policy
Since 2009, the year of its foundation, GreenMe has paid great attention to verifying published news. Journalists and editorial staff are in fact required to be extremely careful in terms of:
- verification of news and citation of sources (reported at the end of each article and/or linked within it) to guarantee readers correct and constantly updated information, protecting them from fake news
- promotion of gender equality and different cultures
- use of non-discriminatory, inclusive words and titles always in line with our ethics
Despite constant commitment and continuous verification of sources, an error can always escape us and for this reason we are open to discussion and your criticisms which have always helped us grow. Therefore, for any report you can write an email to redazione@greenme.it, specifying “fact-checking news” in the subject.
