IceWind features external blades with a specific cross-sectional shape, positioned at strategic distances to adapt to varying wind forces. The internal blades help initiate movement at low speeds and can brake in strong winds.
Constructed from aluminum, stainless steel, and composite materials (such as fiberglass or carbon fiber), these turbines are said to be far more durable than current wind turbines. They operate quietly, emitting just 33 decibels (a typical conversation ranges between 40 and 60 decibels), ensuring minimal disturbance to wildlife in the installation area.
Built for Harsh Environments
