Comedy Pet Photo Awards 2024: a showcase of hilarious pet moments

Ci sono foto che passano inosservate, ce ne sono altre che conquistano a prima occhiata. Come quelle che, ogni anno, si aggiudicano la vittoria del concorso più spassoso del mondo. Pronti a divertirvi?

Every year, like clockwork, the famous Comedy Pet Photo Awards returns, celebrating the funniest moments of pets captured in photos.

In 2024, the entries from all over the world were as entertaining as ever, with the OVERALL WINNER 2024 title going to the talented Sarah Haskell.

The photo that won over the judges is “Not Just For Cats“, featuring Hector, a dog caught in an awkward moment. Attempting to imitate the household cat, Hector tried to pass through a cat flap, only to find himself stuck. And that’s just the beginning!

The other hilarious winners

Here are the other winners of this edition, who brought smiles and laughter even to the most serious faces. It’s impossible to resist the fun!

Continuing with “Cat in a trap like Super Mario” by Kenichi Morinaga, this photo shows a cat in an improbable position. Luckily, the cat was unharmed and won in the “Cat” category.

Debby Thomas, with her photo “I think I saw a mouse!”, took the win in the “All Other Creatures” category. Did a mouse really cause the athletic horse to leap into the air?

 

In the same category, there’s another winner: Jonathan Casey’s photo “The New Rose”, featuring Edgar the tortoise munching on a Gertrude Jekyll rose. Clearly, Edgar has refined tastes!

 

Moving on to the “Junior” category, we have Charlotte Kitchen with her photo “Tired Donkey,” capturing the donkey Benji after a very busy day. He is clearly exhausted!

Throughout our lives, we’ve all met at least one animal soulmate. Have you? David has found his in Ludo von Lickenface, his curly-haired companion of 16 years.

Who was the crowd’s favorite? “Tarzan” by Kazutoshi Ono. Such an athletic pet deserved recognition!
