Fans of Stranger Things can now stay at the Byers’ family house through Airbnb

Good news for Stranger Things fans, who will now have the opportunity to live an immersive experience within the series' iconic universe! The Byers family home, the scene of supernatural events, has been transformed into an Airbnb in Fayetteville, Georgia, thanks to real estate start-up Arrived Homes. This initiative will allow fans to directly enter the 80s scene and the dark atmosphere of Hawkins.

Stranger Things fans have yet another reason to go wild: this iconic Byers’ family home-a backdrop to many of the supernatural events that unfold in the series-is finally an Airbnb rental in Fayetteville, Georgia. The property, which a real estate startup called Arrived Homes bought for about $530,000, offers an experience steeped in the show’s 1980s ambiance and dark narrative at an impressive 1,840 square feet.

Though the show only utilized it for exterior scenes, the interior of the house has been elaborately constructed to make sure it’s as similar to the Byers’ as possible. The new owners have reproduced some recognizable details: a Christmas light wall which Joyce used to communicate with Will, Jonathan’s room with rock band posters, a tabletop gaming nook, and a Dungeons & Dragons setup.

A backyard adventure and authentic vintage touches

Even the backyard is now an adventure zone, replete with props that take visitors directly into the Upside Down—something fans who need their memory of season one jogged most definitely appreciate. Guests can complete the retro experience with an authentic CRT television, a VCR, a set of vinyl records, and some vintage board games.

Arrived Homes is taking this fandom experience to the next level by offering fans a chance to own a stake in the property. The unique home is for sale, starting at $110 per share, in return for a share of its profits.

Details of booking

Starting November 4, the Byers’ house will officially be available for booking, with nightly rates ranging from $350 to $700 depending on season. Up to eight guests can step into this Hawkins-inspired time capsule, complete with intricate details that revive the magic of the cult series.
