Meet Kevin, the Great Dane who has just entered the Guinness Book of Records for his astonishing height. But behind his size, hides a big softie, who is afraid of everything

Meet Kevin, a three-year-old Great Dane who has recently earned the title of the tallest dog in the world, according to the Guinness World Records. Standing at an impressive height of 38 inches, this gentle giant from Iowa, USA, is a loving family pet with a big heart.
A gentle giant
Despite his towering stature, Kevin is described by his family as a “gentle giant.” He lives with his human siblings, aged 12 and 10, three other dogs, four cats, goats, and chickens. Kevin loves cuddles, eating, and napping on the couch. He moves around as if he were a small dog, despite being the height of a three-year-old child.

A big dog with a big heart
“Kevin isn’t aware of his size,” says his owner, Tracy. “He constantly tries to squeeze into small beds, sit on our laps, and do everything smaller dogs do.”
Kevin enjoys playing but is far from fearless. His biggest fear? The vacuum cleaner.
“In fact, he’s afraid of most things,” his family admits. Measuring him for the record was a challenge since he was even scared of the tape measure.
In short, behind his impressive height lies an incredibly sweet (and timid) dog.
