Coat rack
Upcycle an old snowboard into a unique DIY coat rack: simply remove the bindings, paint it the color of your choice, and install hooks at regular intervals.
Bench
You can reuse an old snowboard as a beautiful entryway bench. Break the bindings and paint the snowboard, and attach the snowboard to two crates made of wood, which can be used to organize shoes.
Coffee table
Break up the bindings, clean the snowboard, and attach the legs of a used wooden table to the snowboard. You will have a piece of furniture with distinctive style!
Bottle rack
Snowboards are typically repurposed to create shelves: in this case, the board was turned into a wall shelf perfect for wine bottle display. To make it, solid metal brackets were fixed along the length of the board, and it was mounted vertically on the wall.
Chandelier
Another innovative idea is to convert an old snowboard into an innovative chandelier: drill holes to run the lamp cords through, and suspend the lamps from the board.
Shelf
You can also varnish the snowboard, install small wooden shelves at equal distances along its length, and hang it on the wall.
Benches
Why not a warm bench built from snowboards? You will need at least two to build both the seat and backrest: these would need to be attached to a solid support framework that will secure them in place.
