Our eyes are essential for seeing the world around us, but who would have thought that they conceal other worlds within them! These are the worlds that emerge from the macro photographs of artist Mitchell Zeer, one of the founders of Iris Photo: deserts and otherworldly galaxies hidden in the iris of the eye.
It’s incredible how Zeer manages to capture so many details, enhancing the colors to the fullest, which seem to separate and layer. This is undoubtedly thanks to his talent but also to cutting-edge technologies.
Even more incredible is that each iris is different from the other, unique just like fingerprints.
Moreover, Zeer’s photographs show that even eyes of the same shade can appear completely different because the muscles and fibers of the iris create unique geographies.
