Yes, it is. The Avvenire Combat is an electric vehicle that is capable of converting configuration on any terrain with the assistance of a conversion kit that allows it to convert within less than an hour.

On paved or hard roads, the Combat is an ordinary electric motorcycle with wheels and tires for general road use. But with an instant setup modification, it transforms into the perfect motorcycle for driving over snow-covered ground. With this configuration, the front wheel is replaced with a ski having a spring-loaded shock absorber, and the rear wheel is replaced with a track system to give traction and stability.

Three years of research and development for a sustainable vehicle

Behind the Combat modular electric motorcycle is Avvenire, a Canadian company based in Clarington, Ontario. It was created as a spin-off of Daymak, a company that specializes in electric vehicles. Having launched a three-wheeled electric roadster in 2023, Avvenire is now causing a stir once again with the Combat, a 100% electric, modular, and affordable vehicle.

Development of this model required three years of research and testing on the roads to ensure a safe and secure ride. Avvenire’s President, Aldo Baiocchi, emphasized the significance of the project:

“Combat is an off-road bike, a snow bike, and a street bike, all in one electric vehicle at an affordable price. It was my dream, and it’s finally a reality.”

Apart from offering an overall mobility solution, Avvenire also aspired to sustainable design, with a green alternative to traditional combustion engines.

Technically, the Avvenire Combat is 243 lbs empty weight with a 5 kW electric motor and a maximum speed of 37 mph. It is fueled by a 4.8 kWh lithium-ion battery with up to 43 miles of driving range on full charge. Its payload capacity is 287 lbs.

Currently, the motorbike can be pre-booked at $7,999  in exchange for the discount of $2,000 off its initial price tag of $9,999. Delivery is due from late February 2025.
