This high-tech, wide-brimmed hat in modern design has just been unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show, CES 2025, in Las Vegas, ideal for hiking and other outdoor activities. This hat will not only offer protection against harmful UV rays, thanks to a certified UPF 50+ rating, but it will also charge up to two smart devices at a time while on the go.
State-of-the-art solar technology in fashionable design
The brim of the hat is fully equipped with PERC solar cells, an advanced version of regular monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic cells. While it converts 24% of the absorbed solar energy into electricity, it reduces heat conversion to only 66%. Because the cells are placed strategically, the hat picks up sunlight from every direction, which ensures that perfect charging angles are maintained at all times without requiring manual adjustments.
Fast charging for multiple devices
EcoFlow promises the full charging of a phone within three hours for the average capacity of a smartphone, 4,000 mAh. The unit has dual USB ports, allowing the charging of a smartphone with earbuds, power banks, or small fans. The arrangement allows for durability on the panel; the hat neatly folds into your pocket without being damaged.
