Navigating the city with ease: the stroller revolution

Easy-Way, the kit that transforms traditional strollers into electric ones, simplifies daily travel with innovation and safety: an ecological and sustainable solution that reduces efforts

Tackling most urban environments with a stroller can often feel nothing less than an epic fight: steep climbs, precarious descents, and finally, the eternal nemesis-stairs-turn what’s usually simple errands without some outside help into impossible hurdles. But now there’s a new, innovative ecological way to solve these kinds of problems: Easy-Way, a kit in modern strollers. Constructed in Poland, the ingenious system will make lives much easier for parents and people taking care of babies. Let’s get a closer look at it.

What is easy-way?

Easy-Way is a motorization kit that attaches directly onto a stroller, transforming it into a highly functional electric model. The design is somewhat similar to bicycle conversion kits. It basically consists of a 300-watt motor system, comprising two 150-watt electric motors. These motors drive rubber rollers that propel the stroller’s rear wheels.

How it works

Installation is really easy: users only need to attach the kit onto the frame of the stroller, tilt the rollers so they are in contact with the wheels, and lock the system in place. It’s just as easy to operate it: parents will be able to adjust the speed via a handlebar-mounted control while monitoring battery levels on the small display.

Easy-Way takes safety into consideration when, in case of releasing the handlebar, there’s an automatic lock on wheels, preventing any kind of risks with the child. Other amazing advantages are enabling parents to make those previous stroller versions electric and not necessarily having to buy yet another one, besides ecological benefits associated with a reduction of waste, at a very low cost viable for any family.

A Promising Start with an Unexpected Pause Launched on Kickstarter, Easy-Way quickly captured the attention of parents worldwide. However, for reasons not officially disclosed, the campaign was stopped on November 12th. This project, though, is still a bright example of how technology can make life easier and take care of the planet at the same time.
